It looks like post-apocalyptic settings are really trying to settle in with games like The Sun and Survival: Scavenger coming to light these past few months. Enter the next post-apocalyptic contender, Post Brutal, and when you have to put 'no gore' in the trailer title it's probably bound to be pretty brutal.

Post Brutal is a 3D action RPG with a fairly standard premise. Banding together with a group of other survivors inside the quarantine zone of Zero City, you have to stay alive long enough in order to unravel the mystery of The Event (a cataclysmic event that turned half the population into zombies).

One of the most interesting, and probably hilarious, factors is the ability to put your own face on your character in a totally non-psychopathic fashion. You don't have to rub the lotion on your skin, don't worry.

Basically the game brags about its intense and dynamic combat, letting you switch between melee and ranged where appropriate in the midst of a zombie tide. There'll also be some pretty nice character development available through eight skills and 24 skill level upgrades.

Read more about the game on Hell Tap's website here, and if you're interested they'll be holding another beta in the next few days. So far there's no determined release date for Post Brutal but it will be coming to both iOS and Android.
&#;&#;

F1® Delta Time is an upcoming blockchain-based game that centres on the collection, trading, and racing based on Formula 1® cars, drivers, and components, which are provided as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The game is the result of a partnership between the motorsport behemoth Formula 1 and the mobile / blockchain developer Animoca Brands.

The first launch phase of F1 Delta Time already began today at 1:11pm British Summer Time (UTC+1), with the auction of the first game car NFT. The second phase of the game - the racing component - will go live early next year.

With a whopping 506 million global fans of the F1 sports league, there’s a very significant market for F1 Delta Time. Throw in the fact that F1® is also seen as the most exclusive and high-end sport in the world, attracting the most renowned manufacturers, drivers, and sponsors, and it’s safe to say that this game will have strong brand power and luxury appeal.

This certainly seems to be supported by F1 Delta Time’s choice for its first NFT auction, starting today: a sleek car called the “1-1-1”. This unconventional vehicle sports a midnight black shell with elegant swathes of rose gold plating and crusted diamonds, but don’t let its pretty looks fool you: the 1-1-1 is a demon on the racetrack, with performance indices that are all above the maximum limits. It’s a truly unique and visually impressive collectable item, meaning that only one exists.

Thanks to the blockchain aspect of the game, owners of NFTs have total control over these items, to sell, trade or keep as they prefer. And, similarly to rare CryptoKitties, F1 Delta Time’s high-end NFTs will be both exclusive and potentially valuable as an investment - much like real-world collectables (e.g., rare baseball cards).

Another important aspect of using non-fungible tokens for in-game items and collectables is that NFTs enable digital items to have qualities such as rarity and scarcity - adding to their uniqueness and value - all independently verified and secured on blockchain.

Given the high sums that people have paid for NFTs like CryptoKitties or Gods Unchained cards, it will be interesting to see how strong the demand is for the first-ever F1 unique collectable token.

Next year, the launch of the racing game component will see players take part in tournament races across popular F1 official circuits as well as fantasy tracks.

To find out more and receive the latest updates, just follow this link: www.F1DeltaTime.com.
With all of the leaks and articles floating about for the past week you may think you know about Google's newest phone already, but finally Pixel was revealed at today's keynote and what a nice product it is.

Both of the Pixel phones, the 5-inch and 5.5-inch, are made out of aluminium with a glass window at the back surrounding the camera, fingerprint sensor (Pixel Imprint), and flash. Both devices have 4 GB of RAM, USB-C, 32 or 128 GB storage, Bluetooth, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Nice jab, Google.

The Keynote was arranged in five elements:
Google Assistant
Google Assistant is essentially Google's Siri – but if Siri had an older, more successful sister. The app is a highly knowledgeable, highly intelligent piece of kit which features machine learning, so the more you use it the more useful it'll become to you personally. Using your 'hot' word you can get your Google Assistant to pull up photos/files from specific dates, find locations, text people, and make restaurant reservations. It's nearly perfect.
Top of the class camera
Where the iPhone keynote spent well over half an hour chatting about how amazing their camera is, Google has drifted in and dropped the mic, showing us how it's done with a simple rundown. Both the Pixel and Pixel XL rear cameras scored 89 in DxOMark – that's higher than the Note 7, iPhone 7, and, well, anything in the field. With a 12.3 megapixel resolution, Brian Rakowski gave us the rundown on how it trumps other phones on the market, including Smart Burst, HDR+, and 0% shutter lag. Pixel's camera has the shortest capture time out there as well as a pretty impressive video auto-stabilisation feature.
Unlimited Cloud storage
Yes, you read that right. Google offers free, unlimited storage for full-resolution images and videos shot with the Pixel. That takes a lot of pressure off of snap-happy photo fiends and up-and-coming videographers.
Communication
Google has been extremely attentive to customer needs with this upcoming build as updates, customer care, and communication have been looked into. 24/7 customer care is now inbuilt into Pixel, letting you contact someone if there's an issue – that includes optional screen share to show them exactly what's going on. Google Duo, a new video calling app, also comes preinstalled and has a cool feature which livestreams your contact before you pick up the phone. It sounds creepy when I write it like that, but it's pretty cool.

Other features such as quick switch, automatic updates (which now download in the background), and fast charging are also available. The fast charging lets you get an incredible seven hours of battery in just 15 minutes; perfect for the forgetful, on-the-go types.
Built for VR
With this new generation of smart phones, it's nice to see that VR is no longer an addition but rather a necessity in the product's designs. Google's own headset, Google Daydream, is a truly beautiful bit of kit and you can read about it in a separate article here.

As announced to an array of applause, the phones come in three colours: Quite Black, Really Blue, and Very Silver. Very good. Pre-orders opened today as the prices start at $649 for the smaller of the two at 32 GB, and that price increases to $749 at 120 GB. The Pixel XL starts at $769 for the 32 GB model and increases to a whopping $869 for 120 GB of storage. You can also pay monthly, as per the usual spiel.
"No, you must be her friend, whether she'll let you or not," said Miss Cornelia resolutely. "Don't you mind if she's stiff by times-- don't notice it. Remember what her life has been--and is--and must always be, I suppose, for creatures like Dick Moore live forever, I understand. You should see how fat he's got since he came home. He used to be lean enough. Just MAKE her be friends--you can do it--you're one of those who have the knack. Only you mustn't be sensitive. And don't mind if she doesn't seem to want you to go over there much. She knows that some women don't like to be where Dick is--they complain he gives them the creeps. Just get her to come over here as often as she can. She can't get away so very much--she can't leave Dick long, for the Lord knows what he'd do--burn the house down most likely. At nights, after he's in bed and asleep, is about the only time she's free. He always goes to bed early and sleeps like the dead till next morning. That is how you came to meet her at the shore likely. She wanders there considerable."&#;

    Miss Cornelia dropped in that afternoon, puffing a little.&#;
AirConsole is a service that allows you to play a selection of games on a PC by using your phone as a controller, and it's a curious proposition.

All games on the service are free at the moment, though when third party developers get involved this will probably change.

Currently all the games at launch are entirely produced by the AirConsole team. The line up includes pretty standard stuff like a trivia game and a poker game, and there's also a nifty little four player arena combat title called PolyRacer which I rather liked when I tried out the closed beta.

The platform turns your phone into the controller, adapting the button layout for when you're browsing a menu, or when you switch to a different game.

The star attraction of the service at the moment is undoubtedly NES Simulator. It's a fully featured Nintendo Entertainment System emulator which allows you to drag and drop ROMs into the browser so that you can play classics of yesteryear without needing to download additional software.

This means you can get your mates round a computer, sync up your phones to AirConsole, and be playing four player Bomberman II on the same screen within seconds.

How you go about getting a ROM of Bomberman II is of course a legally grey matter, and just for the record, Pocket Gamer (and AirConsole) aren't condoning piracy - so maybe give the emulator a try with a bit of homebrew instead.

More original games are on the way for the service, including Famobi's Formula Fever, and developers will be able to port games made in Unity3d and HTML5 to the service with the use of an API.

A dedicated AirConsole Controller App is also incoming for iOS and Android devices, though what this will add to the experience is currently unclear.

As I noted, I've played AirConsole in beta, and the tech is quite impressive, even if the selection of original games is a little lacking. There's definitely a lot of potential here though, especially if developers embrace the platform.

AirConsole goes live on September 4th, and launches ads-free. Head on over to airconsole.com and give it a bookmark so you don't forget, yeah?

    Did livery falseness in a pride of truth.
Webzen’s MU Origin 2, the mobile fantasy MMO available for iOS and Android, is getting a festive Christmas update for you to enjoy during the winter holiday.

The White Christmas event for MU Origin 2 allows you to rein in the festivities by engaging in a hunt to defeat event bosses. These tough enemies drop Rudolph Horns, which are exchanged for special items such as Archangel Weapons, Gem Chests, and more.
